In 2008 I fell in love with this old house, and it has been my home ever since. From the beginning, I took a sustainable approach to life here at Møllehusets. I own a large organic vegetable garden, pickle and preserve the vegetables and fruits, bake my own bread, and try to be as self-sufficient as possible.
Guests who dine with us will experience this sustainable food first-hand, which I serve in my own dining room. I’m always willing to share my recipes, and who knows, maybe you’ll share one of your recipes with me!
The recently-completed house renovation was also done sustainably, from the materials used to the heating and cooling systems. The walls are made from clay which cleans the air and gives a consistent and pleasant humidity, as well as shields from electromagnetic rays. I’d love to share more about my recent house updates with you during your visit if you’re interested.
